Don't like it when people insult him, he's achieved alot and as someone said, even takes his time out to post his knowledge on here. To those who say he goes a bit 'OTT' well I like most find it fun and humerous, it would be a bit boring if the pundits all sat around having a big serious debate like a bunch of jury members. Me and my twin are exited as two kids at christmas at the start of Steve Bunce's boxing hour and we're almost 21. And that my son is an exclusive! :hat I'm sure he knows it's only a few ignorant people who insult him, all appreciation welcome! Steve Bunce to crack America, now that would be funny.
He's got a solid base of knowledge but he's too opinionated and overly-annoying. I'm not a fan personally. It's like he tries to ram his opinion down the viewers throat.
I like Bunce. He's knowledgeable and makes me laugh at times too. I assume he'll be off to the the Olympics too with the BBC?
Sometimes you need people like that rather than the Duke McKenzies and Barry McGuigans etc who can talk some right ****.
He's OK, I don't mind him. Even if you don't agree with what he says, at least he provokes a reaction.
I love the guy and find him amusing. It's funny when you watch the boxing with older guys, my old man cannot stand him. The fact he talks **** is indeed a fact but all sports have pundits and commentators that seem a bit daft at times. He is entertaining.
He is no different to Bumble or Stevo, really :rofl Those two really crack me up. Classic Stevo quotes: 'You can't make cheese, if you don't have cattle' in reference to a team giving away possession. 'This is a knock-on-athon' - **** bottom of table clash
:happy :happy :happy :happy :happy :happy :happy :happy :happy :happy :happy :happy :happy :happy :happy :happy :happy :happy I have always really enjoyed his style and opinions. I was kinda getting the feeling that it was only me that respected this man. Full credit to him for his shows and his appearances on other programme,s, it is great that we have some on the scene who is prepared to speak his mind and who has a personality. He does how ever need to stop going to the cheap section of Matalan for his shirts.
McGuigan does my head in but that is mainly due to a few things he said about Macca and Anir awhile back claiming they were genuine world class ect ect. McKenzie is ok but I forget he exists.
It's hard for me to respect someone who dresses so very poorly, but he's about the only interesting character in UK boxing broadcasting at the moment. Needs to stop shouting.
