Yes definitely! Fat mick stuffed up by not making froch more famous. I think it was on here though the other day , if carl had been with frank warren he would without a doubt have been more famous......however would he have been in the brilliant challenging fights hes been in? at the end of the day i guess its whats more important to him. I think hed be happy knowing true boxing fans rate him so highly.

I just saw Macklin giving Froch his dues on Facebook. Said he should be a superstar household name and fights anyone. I completely agree with him. I may not like his personality but Froch is now clearly the most accomplished British fighter in the game today and he should be rewarded for his endevours.

It was actually a boring mismatch but the fact the it was Abraham it kept you interested knowing he could KO Froch at any time with a good shot

Another reason to hate Haye. The third best fighter in the UK (unless Ricky Burns ranks higher now) squanders whatever ability he's got by fighting a procession of tomato cans, while Froch toils away fighting the best every single fight- yet gets no recognition for it

yes real shame he doesnt get the recognition he deserves, wish sky sports snapped him up a few years ago instead of spending so much money on the olympians.

Everybody who knows Froch gives him massive respect.

The people who don't know him, can't.

It comes back to promotion again.

It was an edge of seat fight all the way, despite being a shut out. There was no point in the fight where I felt Froch was safe, and despite what some have said, AA threw hard punches every round- but Froch moved very well and his chin held up when it had to. This wasn't a Dirrell/Haye performance by Froch either, he was throwing bombs at Abraham from start to finish. If you like Carl Froch give it a watch when you get the chance :thumbsup

I've had Sky Sports News on for the last hour and a half and there hasn't been any mention of him.

    Poor showing from Sky.

I fully agree and Im a big Froch fan too!!! I really feel for him but its down to Hennesy why he isn't getting the adulation he fully deserves!! I hope he moves on in good time cos I really believe he'd do a better job himself...:good

Firstly i agree with the title of your thread , the bit that says respect to Carl Froch !!!!

Secondly , Froch has no personality outside of the ring , he has no flair , he is not flamboyant or good looking , he is a very bland man , this type of guy is hard to make popular outside of the sport !!!!

    And he's from Nottingham

    :good

I think he's missed the boat now, Tony. He should have moved on after the Pascal fight, because his promotion since that fight has been non-existent. The alarm bells should have been ringing when Hennessey couldn't even get his fight with Jermain Taylor on tv - anywhere in Britain!? That was shocking. Which brings me back to my point earlier, maybe Froch is relatively happy with the set up he's got? Who knows?
