I always thought that when Floyd signed with Showtime it would be great for boxing.

Those pussys at HBO pretty much said yes to any fight. Fat Marquez , stupid Ortiz and shot Cotto.

Now they have got past the gimme of Guerrero its time for five real fights.

Canelo is the first real test in six years for Floyd.

If this were HBO Floyd would be fighting Berto or Alexander.

Also a note to Canelo , come in at 154 and pay the 2lbs difference. Any bull**** from Floyd and say its no difference to the JMM fight.

In a sense you are right. I think this 6 fight deal is going to make for better fights. Floyd is somewhat obligated to keep his end of the deal and make showtime money so is pressured to make fights which garner more revenue. Rather then just have contracts on a fight to fight basis.

I think Floyd was backed into a corner here after his last fight Flopped and caused Showtime to lose money. :hi: we know Floyd if he had it his way he would be fighting Khan next and you ****ing know it

This 6 fight deal was great for boxing. But Showtime's production will always look bush league against HBO.

At least Showtime is pushing Floyd for tougher fights. Everyone knew that Guerrero was a bum. Showtime is now putting Floyd's ass to the fire. Only problem is there would be no one else after Canelo.
