Atm most presume Ward will win and thus will give him his due respect if he does, but what if one of the others wins?. Will everyone give the respect to Froch or AA or Glen, or will it be a case of QQ they sook and was lucky to beat xxx .

Overall the winner will gain respect, especially if it's one of the originals who wins it.

But, if Ward wins it, "Too many bouts at home, Showtime helped him win".

If Froch wins, "Dirrell beat him, if it wasn't for home town decision".

If Abraham wins, "He cheated, etc...".

ward, froch, or johnson will be recognised as the premier smw if they win.

too late for AA, he has been outclassed twice now and will not win the respect the others would

I give alot of respect to all of them, even those who don't win.

Dan Rafael pissed me off when he wrote on ESPN "now noone cares about Ward vs Abraham"

Are you ****ing kidding me? what an idiot

Yeah, any bout with Abraham is intriguing...he has the power, just can't use it effectively at this level, against bigger men. Be interesting to see what Ward's gameplan is...outbox him from range, or mix it up with Abraham.

That's the point. Even if Green or Bika would of won it whoever comes out on top would get respect automatically.

I'll have tremendous respect for whoever wins. I gained respect for all of them when they agreed to participate, in this day-and-age you just don't see fighters taking the kind of tough schedule that these guys signed up for. Froch and Abraham were both coming off a loss going into their fight, when do you ever see a fighter taking a fight like that after a loss?

Some people will find a reason to hate on the winner no matter what but generally speaking, those people are idiots. Whoever wins this deserves every bit of credit that will come their way.

there is definitely respect for the winner. A lot of people are complaining that the tournament has lost it's integrity because of fighters dropping out. That doesn't make sense to me, if they got beat and they can no longer fathom winning the tournament that means they aren't the champ. A lot of respect for the winner. I expect the champs career to be catapulted the way that B-hops was after he won the Ray Robinson Tourney.
My bet is on Ward to triumph over Froch in the finals.
