Love him, Hate him, whatever. In the wake of all the 'MMA is taking over' talk, 'Boxing is dead' talk, in an Era where the only Heavyweight worth watching is from the Ukraine and has absolutely no competition to fight, Floyd Mayweather Jr has catapulted Boxing back into the spotlight. Do we have to credit Oscar Delahoya also, yes. He was the draw in the 'World Awaits' and he is the current promoter of this Mega-Fight, but it is Floyd that made both fights happen :deal Floyd agreed to every single one of Oscars demands and fought him in a weight class he naturally shouldn't be near. He beat him also. He then, in his very next fight, is taking on the #1 man at 140lbs in a fight with just as much star power worldwide and even more significance to the sport of boxing.

The man that currently sits on the throne of the deepest division the sport has seen in decades and is universally recognised as the best boxer on the planet has delivered once again. In the ring he displays a technical genious which is rivaled only by SRL and Sweet Pea Whitaker, and now, outside of the ring he is starting to prove whatever critics he has left by accepting the biggest and toughest fights possible.

    RESPECT TO MAYWEATHER!!! :good

You do have to give him credit. His schtick is so effective that even non-boxing fans want to see him get battered, and he's fully aware of this. Even my friends, who have no interest in boxing whatsoever want to watch this one.

Not a Floyd fan, but i got a lot of respect for his boxing game and the impact he'll have on future generations of technical boxers.
