He looks like a wierdo - but big respect to Paulie Malignaggi. He beat Diaz - and his outbursts (criticising the virtues of boxing) are actually quite valid.

Yeah like a week ago when I heard on here that he said "boxing is a joke", I was thinking WTF, **** him. After seeing what happened I see exactly why he said it.

Paulie has always spoken his mind and it's good to see that the sport did change that.

    Much respect.

I respect him for what he said these type of issues need to be addressed if boxing is to continue moving forward, and no disrespect to my boy the baby bull he put on a good show.

I was impressed with his slickness. He kept his right hand tight against his right cheek while tucking his elbow in. His weaving out of harms way was especially good to see.

Prop's to Paulie, he gave Diaz a good test/taste of higher than 135lbs but unfortunate for him.
His jab & backtracking + lack of "POP" & his not wanting to engage the smaller Diaz
made the dec. easier for the judges to lean towards Juan.

Let's not forget Diaz just came off a FOTY candidate w/JMM
and it's suck's but what has Paulie done latley?

Nothing like a fighter burying the sport and looking like a baby to remind the casual public why boxing is falling behind other sports in the all important dollar race.

Don't get me wrong, Paulie definitely had a right to ***** if it was in fact a bad decision (I didn't watch it)...but having seen his post fight deal, it just wasn't the right way to handle business. He came off whiny (even if it was justified) and ultimately buried the sport in a moment's notice.

Paulie certainly lost that fight against Herman but what can ya do.

As Max Kellerman once said to Casa, "You win some robberies...ya lose some robberies."

I used to dislike him. After the Hatton fight I pitied him for having a tko loss on his record when he could have gone on. Now I have respect for the guy.
