wrong....diaz atleast tried to win (and did enough imo)...paulie looked like **** in all of his 3 gifts....
Three words- PUNK ASS *****. Just look at him. Just look and listen to the running little **** for gods sake. He only threw boxing as a sport under the bus because he is now getting the same shaft that he gave to Ngoudjo. If he was still undefeated and make better $, you wouldn't hear a word from this little twat. He hasn't gotten paid over the years because he doesn't have ANY power. People pay to see KO's, or the possibility of one. You know at a ***inaggi fight that he isn't hurting anyone.
:good:good Most casual fans, the same fans that watch UFC watch if for the violence. Watching Malignaggi is like watch two dudes wrestle around on the floor in the UFC. BORING!! Hopefully, I don't have to ever see him fight again. I certainly wouldn't pay to watch him. He doesn't deliver what most people want to see. Half the reason he has no power is that he's backpedaling while throwing his jabs. No only does he have little power he saps what power he does have.
I think its fair to remember that Paulie has in fact come off with beneficial calls himself. The fight with Diaz was close. I had it a draw, but if I was pressed, a close Diaz round I could certainly give to Paulie. That said, his 118-110 scorecard was no worse than him getting 117-111 up on Herman Ngoudjo, who probably beat him. He also had a CLOSE, tough scrap in the rematch with Ndou, and though I had Paulie winning, it was by no means 116-112. 7-5, and I don't see how it can be scored any wider. There is even a significant arguement that Ndou could have won 7 rounds. Paulie shouldn't be bitching as much as he is. This is boxing, and before you whine a close fight didn't go your way, it pays to remember 2 close fights once went your way.
Malignaggi won the fight and the judges were criminal. If Pauli won a close fight before that does not excuse the criminal judges for robbing him. Criminal judges are killing boxing.
i would have respect for him beyond being a prizefighter if i didn't find his rantings ironic given that he's stolen other peoples meal (ngoudjo) because herman didn't make any noise and it was on a small time network that daylight robbery was swept under the carpet and there no oohs and aahs funny how it goes when the shoe is on the other foot.
either way millie vanilli got a far shake from boxing and got the money and opportunity his talent level deserved.
this is the problem judging a paulie fight, you either go for the power and aggression, which in most instances rule against him.....or you appreciate the "boxer".....and i thought there, malignaggi dominated diaz in that retrospective....
I feal bad for Paulie, first he was straight out robbed and now Diaz is calling out Hatton when even he has to know that he got a gift.
