Technical KO, but yes. You may hear some confused reports that it was a cuts stoppage, but that isn't the case. There was a bad cut on Senchenko and Smoger lobbied for the physician at ringside to halt it on that basis between the 8th and 9th...but the doc said "fight on". Then in the 9th Paulie just went for broke and started bombing away, and Smoger - Smoger, mind - waved it off to protect the former champ from any further punishment.
Cant stand Paulie, he **** talks boxers he isnt even fighting. He will get given a beatdown once he steps up in class anyway, like he always does.
