He laid it all on the line and came up just short. 2 knockdowns of the much heavier man in the 4th is a testament to his power. As fury says hes the second best heavyweight right now. I think he used up his shot against fury but I'd like to see him back.
Wilder reminds of the character Feraud in the Ridley Scott movie the Duellists. Will probably show up in Morecambe with his posse looking for fight 4 because he was cheated. A nutter.
As a boxer ... not really. He isn't skilled enough, though I appreciate that he had made effort to improve. As a person ... depends largely on whether he accepts the loss, shows respect to Fury, and - optimally - retracts his previous allegations. As a warrior ... absolutely.
Nah his a bum dosser who can't take his beating like a man. Bring on wilder vs fury 4, more punishment for wilder
He deserves respect for continuing to fight even though he had nothing left, and no other reason. Terrible boxer. Terrible sportsman and total idiot.
Is he really a bad person though? I mean he definetely trash talks but that's part of the game. He seems to be a good father and the way he handled the charlie z situation was very mature
He showed he was a better boxer than anyone thought by how he came out using the jab and winning that first round. He has a really good jab and he was having success with it. He even showed decent defense in the early rounds by covering up and blocking some shots before he really started gassing badly.
All the crap he has pulled after the 2nd fight and then after this fight he didn't want to show ANY sportsmanship to Fury I wouldn't call him a saint
I'm not going to give Wilder credit for something he should have realised two fights ago. Fury is huge. Of course you go to his body, it's a big target
I don’t see him as racist. I see him trying to sell a fight. He actually came across as a decent guy early in his career. Then the public relations guys get a hold of you and tell you to act this way and say this stuff it sells! Toxic people toxic industry.
I think you got your post title wrong... it should be titled Respect Fury... Not the "I want a body on my record" guy... not the "my trainer was disloyal" guy .... Wilder is just a stubborn, uncoachable boxer. he simply survives on his instincts... doesn't wanna learn anything new
