If you can stand there and mock everyone, but can't take losing like a man and do a runner, then it's hard to show him any respect

I lost the little respect I had for the clown, that acting $h1t he pull trying to get Maidana DQ was funny and degrading and then leaving without giving an interview, no balls at all, priceless...

I think he will be back if he doesn't have bad handlers advising him to stay at 147. He can hang with anyone else at 140 and have the qualities to win but at 147 he has to be carefully guided. Unfortunately for Broner that division is talent rich. He needs to fall back, reset and work his way back to his the top. But this fight took something out of his career. If he had another 20 fights left in his young career its been shortened to 10.

Any other respectable fighter showing so much courage and toughness would get immediate props and recognition.

Because its Broner, people get excited.

He got his arse beat, but he didn't fold.. then again, Maidana is one of the worst finishers imo.

He showed heart but because the amount of shxt he talked he had to

Sometimes I think people like him and Floyd talk shxt to motivate themselves so they have to show heart when it gets tough

Ortiz did quit - unlike broner, If broner had ortiz's heart he would have not come out for round 10. Broner's footspeed <<Khans Footspeed, if broner could he would have gone on his bike and ran, but Khan didnt really run apart from round 10, he came out much more aggressive than Broner from the first bell and took it to Maidana - nor did he roll around on the ground from a soft ass headbutt..

Firstly Khan fight, should have not been stopped - this is a Pro fight, khan did an excellent job. His chin isn't good but if it was awful he would have been KO'd before round 10, Maidana had couple of good rounds before then - Maidana KO'd supposedly 'tough guys' Karrass and Lopez out with less of the punches (more so Lopez).

Secondly, broner not only came out after the KD, he came out to get the KO against Maidana in round 12 - not many would do that..

Broner fought his heart out, all credit to el Chino, Threw 900 punches and rolled back the years back to the days of his high workrate and roughhouse tactics, best shape of his career since the Khan fight.

Lopez, Karrass, Ortiz fights show different...

No, you are not right. Maidana had knocked out 31 out of 37 boxers he faced and I don't think ANYONE who took this many power shots made it to the final bell against Maidana. Hell, not even Khan received the same punishment. Broner just couldn't dodge those huge swingers and yet managed to make it through against a monstrous puncher. This is not ordinary by any means.

This. I have been questioning his footwork and foot speed for several fights now. I don't know if he's not capable of it, doesn't know how, or a combination of both.

When did Broner ever show you he was a "mover"? It's not his style. He likes to stay in the pocket and sit down on his shots. He more accurate that way and it gives him the chance to maximize damage on his opponent.

That's why you hesr "styles make fights". Pressure busts pipes for fighters who are more efficient with their offense who rely on counter punching. It's hard to couneter a 3 or 4 shot combination vs one shot at a time.
