He came to fight.. mad props for the WWF show in the early rounds too making Wlad think twice about the clinch advantage.

He just wasn't prepared to get outside of his style which is what it would have taken to win that fight.

Wlad did what he was supposed to do. He used his height, reach and massive size advantage.. and Chambers style worked to Wlads favor.

The only two men that can punish Wlad for his technical deficiencies and expose him for what is are his brother and David Haye. And Haye is by no means a lock to do so.. but he has the ability.

(Note to Clottey.. It's okay to fight in a shell for long periods when the opponent outweighs you by 50 lbs..)

    Amen. :good

Chambers put on his game face and fought a typical Eddie Chambers fight.

Klitschko put on his game face and fought a typical Wladimir Klitschko fight.

Wladimir Klitschko fighting the way he fights to the best of his ability is better than Eddie Chambers the way he fights to the best of his ability.

People criticizing Chambers for not taking more risks, or criticizing Klitshcko for not going wild and looking for an earlier finish really need to all STFU unless they've been in a world title fight.

Haye doesn't have the ring IQ or the skills to beat the Klitschko brothers. If he did, he wouldn't have backed out of both fights. Chambers could of at least circle to Wladimir's right. And at least he fought Wladimir unlike Haye.

I think Chambers did show that he is league's above arreola when it comes to American Heavies...which isn't saying much....Chambers would give arreola a boxing lesson, in a fight I would like to see....

Even Haye-Chambers interest me or a re-match with povetkin...

Chambers did okay in the first couple of rounds but from there I think it became apparent that he just didn't have the tools to win. It's a shame he didn't hear the final bell and I'd like to see Chambers in the ring again soon.

i will give my respect to eddie too he is not a bad fighter but wladimir was all wrong for him! it just shows you how difficult it is to hit the klitschkos cleanly! wouldnt chambers be black i would have thought i watched klirtschko vs chagaev in there again!

I like Haye-Chambers too because there both skilled, fast cruisers that fight at HW.

    Would be entertaining.

Deserves respect, he gave a good performance and even took a few rounds from the big man.

However, just wasn't enough. He certainly did better than Chagaev, Rahman, Ibragimov, and others. He showed he belongs in the same ring IMO with Wlad and Vitali, even if he cannot beat them.

One thing to add, I did come away impressed with Chambers' chin. He really took a good deal of punishment in there tonight over the course of the fight and I was certain he'd at least have been knocked down by that shot in the 2nd.
