Horrible to hear stories like that. It's no wonder people keep their head down when someone is gettin a hiding. Trying to break fights up always backfires. Fair play to Barker. Those scummy ****s should have done time for that. It's the same in Ireland, a slap on the wrist is all these filth get for such crimes. No wonder they carry on the way they do. :fire

 

Good to hear a "positive" story about a boxer in the tabloids just a shame about the disgraceful sentences being given out.

 

its total bull****. Once got beaten up by a x girlfriends x boyfriend and 3 mates. The case fell through because they lost the evidence (the blood stained shirt and jeans I handed in) and the CCTV was not working. They didn't even get a caution.

Heard about this last year did not think it was as bad. Respect to Darren.

real talk, darren barker is a top bloke and deserves credit for being a good fighter and a good human being.
