    Avenged.

Tyson, Holyfield, Mercer, Morrison, Golata, Grant, Briggs, Tua, Ruddock, Tucker,

and lets not forget Bowe throwing a belt in the garbage to avoid fighting him.

Classic example of how ridiculously overrated Lewis is on this site! Unbelievable! Lewis isn't even the best of his era, let alone second to Ali! Insane!:nut

Zak, you rate Holyfield several places above Lewis in your ATG rankings, so your 'opinion' on Lewis isn't exactly credible. That said, you can knock yourself out trying to prove how overated Lewis was. It's always amusing. :good

He got ko'd in prime twice by good club fighters/fringe contenders. NOt an all time great, not even top 15.

He gets his respect now by force. Look at what has happened to HW scene since he left.

I really miss watching Lewis fights now :( tears are rolling down my eyes as I think about the upcoming Vitaly Areola fight. Ah yes, the once entertaining HW division.... how the mighty has fallen.

Surely not underrated in this forum.
He preferred staying amateur for 4 MORE ____en years , just stay away from mike tyson , he knew he had no chance back then to become #1. when he did turn pro , he still kept away of mike , untill he had no choice and it was obvious mike was downhill.
just wait for the replies for this one and see how overrated he is.
    i do agree he was great h2h , but a lauzy p4p.
couldn't stop a smaller faded holyfield.
retired just not to rematch klitschko.
is really 0:1 against mccall , 1:1 against rahman - and happy with it.
ducked chris byrd and john ruiz. i think byrd was just another answer for him.

oliver mccall was not a club fighter/fringe contender.
he also beat maskaev , darroll wilson , yanqui diaz , larry holmes and KO'd a much much bigger Akiwande. he also was never down at least as a pro.

I'd like to hear some thoughts from ESB members why he isn't well liked. I always thought he was a beast. Granite like chin. Incredible speed for his size.

McCall was a club fighter/fringe contender Look at names you put up. Besides an old Holmes, that's a pretty sorry list.

If you were kidding then my mistake.
