    The deal is nearly reached.
Parker's Team agrees to a split between 30-35%.
    That's how it's done!
Kudos to Parker for chasing a legacy and put it on the line.

Unlike some who hides behind a ridiculous split.
Yes, we all know who that is.

Gotta love this as a boxing fan. Going for broke. Betting the farm on himself against a legit beast. Kid's got some stones for sure. I don't wanna sound like the hideous creature known as a "wigger" but man, MAD RESPECT to Parker.

There's a saying in the military: "when the going gets tough, the tough go cyclic!" - Parker all the way.

Chasing a legacy is total bull**** and always has been, its all about that money.
It sounds good but the money is the most important factor in prize fighting. You think Jack Johnson was risking being hung chasing white fighters because he only thought he could be them?
Hell no, his business partners knew it would be profitable which why he remained untouchable during segregation in America as the universal heavyweight champion.
Parkers team tooka deal where they aimed high and settled low. Wilder will most likely go to England and do the same if he is smart.

So AJ and Hearn are still running from Wilder.

The sad thing for AJ is, he’s so average, just about anyone he fights has a chance of taking his belts.

But can’t blame them for ducking Wilder, really.

Yep, third undefeated fighter in his last 4 and second time back to the lion's den.
He could have milked his title with some easy defence in NZ but he chose the glory.
The split will give him a career high payday. But don't kid our self, it's not GGG or canelo types of money we are talking about. It's more like ward type of money here.

Parker wanted it more than Wilder.

If Parker beats AJ he will then turn around and offer Wilder 30 to 35%.

    take off those rose-tinted glasses
only one of them fought klitschko, so only one of them comes across as "average"

Klitschko was already shot to sh!t when he fought Jennings, and then went 0-2. Hence why he retired.

Parker: I Want Joshua in UK, Wilder in Las Vegas, Bellew in 2018

'Parker has no problem with facing Joshua on UK soil.

And then he wants WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder in the United States and then former cruiserweight champion Tony Bellew, also in the UK.

"I'd like to fight Joshua in the UK as that's where the draw card is," Parker told Will Kent. "I'd also like to fight Wilder in America in Vegas and then I'd like to fight Tony Bellew. Those are the fights I want to make happen in 2018."

Parker is getting 32% which is a gurenteed purse of 12million according to NZ Herald. Not bad pay increase, going from fighting on YouTube to getting 12million! I read somewhere Parker's last fight against Hughie on YouTube only got 6 thousand buys and Parker earnt 850k. In comparison GGG got a gurenteed purse of only 3mil against Canelo and Canelo got 5mil.

This. If Parker is patient in the early rounds I can see him beating Joshua, since Joshua is bound to gas out at some point in the fight.

That aside Parker needs to fire his management after the Joshua fight win or lose, since any decent manager would've never let him settle for less than 40 percent. Hearn has to be laughing at how easy it was to work over Parker and his team.

GGG and Loeffler tried to ripoff Jacobs, who wouldn't allow himself to get lowballed and ended up getting the purse split he wanted. Jacobs demand a 40/60 split and by sticking to his guns he got it.

Parker has balls, he is not afraid to fight Joshua, if he has a chin like Tua, as many have said, he will be a problem for Joshua................this is a dangerous fight, a fight Wilder would not take, Wilder refused to fight Joshua or Parker, or anyone who can fight back, hell, Wilder would not fight Andy Ruiz, Whyte, Takam, so far not Ortiz, and esp. not Povetkin! Who was cleared by VADA, but WBC still protected Wilder...............Wilder refused to fight Vlad at age 41...................Wilder is a damned fraud who has never fought a legit fighter, ever! I really doubt if he will fight Ortiz, who is probably 50 years old, but still a threat! Wilder will have to have the fight in Alabama where the sheep are nervous!

Joshua nor Parker wanted that Wilder work. That's why they're fighting each other. Wilder is the most feared man in the heavyweight division. They are both scared of his speed and his power and I can't understand that because Joshua is technically a better fighter than Wilder and Parker is no slouch himself.
