He showed good defense with a lot of shoulder roll utilization.
He's got a bright future and made a good account of himself.

Yeah, but he will always be held back by his lack of power. You don't have to knock out everyone you face, but unless you are a Willie Pep or Pernell Whitikar level talent, you have enough to keep the other guy honest.

He thought he could shoulder roll like Mayweather but got caught. Good fight

I'd be very interested to see if moving to 175 fixes the power and gas tank issues he's had.

I think some people (Plant, Callum Smith at 168 obviously, the Charlos, maybe David Benavidez) are basically draining themselves and not living up to their potential.

Boiling down is a great way to make a splash as a 22 year old prospect, but eventually you need to take the training wheels off and fight at your real weight class.

You're on it. His lack of power completely did him in.

He looked like a chinless disgrace in my book.

Saunders and Smity both done way better.

Came in to survive, so he could say he went 12 rounds with the best and pick up a pay cheque................... until he got KTFO.

Is Plant known for rehydrating a lot? He doesn’t strike me as a particularly big guy for 168.
