Respect to the Cobra !

    How can you hate on Cobra who is now a 2 time champeen ?


    The man just works ,made Double A look 1 dimensional ..Got off the canvas to beat Taylor had two very close fights with Dirrell and Kessler ,the resume is stcked and is basically never in a boring fight !

    Can't wait for his fight with Johnson !!!

    Johnson vs. Froch is a fight I wouldn't miss. Both fighters come prepared and have an iron will to boot. That being said I think that Froch will manhandle Johnson.

    agreed. he looked very sharp agains AA. Quick powerful, great stamina. If he takes that form into Glen johnson and Ward he has a chance of winning ths whole tournament.

    Respect to Froch but he didn't make AA look one dimensional, AA is one dimensional. Also, he lost the Dirrell fight in most people's eyes. Other than that I have a lot of respect for him as a fighter. :good

    Manhandle no but could school him ..Man I thought Froch Abrham would be fight of the year ..This will be most likley the fight of the year !!

    I think that Froch physical attributes will prove too much for Johnson. His stamina and his strength will be too much for old man Johnson. Froch will bring the heat from round one to round twelve.

    i thought so too, however there is a pole on here about dirrell/froch

    and 70% of people had froch winning that one. As did ring magazine.

    Fact is ike the topic says, the dirrell and Kessler fights were both 50/50 that could have been scored either way.
    Which is impressive since Kessler is a future HOF and Dirrel is one of the quickest pound for pound fghters in the spot and stylisticlly al wrong for the rugged wild slugger from Nottingham.

    I give Froch his due. He fought a smart, tactical fight. It was the first time I saw him demonstrate discipline from opening bell to last.

    Abraham waited for the old Froch but he never showed up.

    The more I think about Johnson v Froch the more exciting it gets. The fight has a great potential to be a great fight, I have not seen Froch up against a great pressure fighter like Johnson.. I think it will turn into an all out war. Johnson even at his age is a strong, heavy and accurate puncher and it really wouldn't surprise me if he wins this one.

    The poll after the fight had Dirrell winning, even the majority of British posters gave it to Dirrell. I think Froch's performance over AA has warped the opinion on the Dirrell fight, Froch done good against AA but that has nothing to do with how he did against Dirrell. There's a lot of revisionism going on in the most recent poll. That said there's nothing wrong with losing to Dirrell, he is a very good fighter.

    Just a year ago I couldnt stand the guy but now I have so much praise and admiration for him.

    Great fighter, great guy and great for the sport.

    Respect to Carl Froch..... Hopefully now he gets the recognition he deserves!!!

    I've definitely gained respect for Froch since the Dirrel fight. I thought Dirrel won that fight and that Froch was a bit of an ass after it was over, but he seems to have had an attitude adjustment since then (at least in my eyes).

    Said to a friend just before the AA fight that I though Froch was a little under-rated by fans here in North America, maybe he'll start to get more appreciation.
