    Recorded one of the earliest lightweight title fight kayos on record incidentally.


    ...Pep also had many knockouts, over sixty I think on record, actual kayo ratio aside. I read he saved his punch for more important fights after a certain point in his career because of his hands being damaged. Pep was really a much better puncher than guys like Locche. As was Pea.

    Juan Diaz crafted a decent career for himself despite the fact that he couldn't crack an egg with his best punch. He sure tried to make it up with volume though.
