    From Rafael's blog;

    "Disgruntled junior welterweight titlist Timothy Bradley Jr. has been idle since his January win against Devon Alexander, after which he turned down a unification fight with Amir Khan for 50-50 terms. He has been mired in a legal dispute with co-promoters Gary Shaw and Ken Thompson since then. However, settlement talks between the lawyers for the fighter and promoters have been hot and heavy. If they reach an agreement -- which I expect, even though multiple sources involved have told me they are still quite a bit apart on the amount of money the promoters would receive to walk away -- Bradley is headed for Top Rank. Top Rank's plan is for Bradley to return Nov. 12 on the Manny Pacquiao-Juan Manuel Marquez HBO PPV undercard. Obviously, Top Rank would be prepping Bradley for a possible shot at Pacquiao if a fight between Pacquiao and Mayweather doesn't come off."

    If Bradley does come back in November and win, I'd like to see him fight Berto or Khan afterwards. Although I fear we'll get Pacquaio/Bradley and Mayweather/Khan in the spring.

    I wouldn't say that. I still view Bradley as the backup plan. Arum and Pac have both said there is no issue with blood testing. If both Mayweather and Pac win their upcoming fight, I believe both parties will sit down with eachother(and not some network head) and actually try to hammer out this fight. Whether they can actually come to an agreement is anybody's guess.

    Eyebrow raising news on multiple levels.

    If TR can indeed execute a coarse of action involving Bradley against a descent opponent on the Pac-JMM, I might actually suspend my continuous contemptuous verbal bashing of them with casuals at every available opportunity to discuss boxing that I encounter.

    Pacquiao has previously stated that "liars go to hell", so I'm sure he's telling the truth.

    It would be nice to have Bradley back after looking like it could be a while before seeing him again. Him with Top Rank and on the Pac-JMM undercard is big news but I don't count on a great opponent for Bradley if it happens. Pac-Bradley in itself is a good fight but there is no way it should come instead of Pac-Mayweather.

    I would imagine both sides know there isn't a lot of time to make a Mayweather-Pac fight before something goes wrong and all that potential money is gone. One could get upset, serious injury, or people's interest starts to fade. The window on Mayweather-Pac is clearly still open but I do think its closed a bit and will keep doing so if they keep messing around and finding reasons to not make the fight instead of fighting.
