Kesslers team should have handled it better, even if he fights Mundine for the WBA in June.

 

This is getting worse by the day for Kessler. And his promoters arent really helping. Does anyone eles see something wrong with Kesslers people commentting about Mundine fighting Soliman again, then saying that Kessler should fight Munidine again??? What the fuk is the difference??

 

OK, this "respected" columnist Dan Rafael stuff is making me laugh. This is like the 2nd time someone has put "respected" in front of Dan Rafael in a post. Is this some kind of joke or something? I'm not saying he's not respected but you don't have to put that word in front of his name.

The difference? Mundine has not fought a mandatory defense in his career, Kessler is his mandatory challenger.

Kessler is not fighting Mundine for his name but for his title! He needs a title to get the likes of Taylor, Winky and Pavlik in the ring!

 

As you can see, Team Kessler was using Miranda as a backup as they negotiated with the WBA. They should have been open about what they were doing. Instead they said nothing, dropped out, and never looked back. Never even had the decency to give Miranda's team a phone call. I hope Showtime and HBO blackball them from American TV.

Well, don't do it anymore. It comes across as a joke more than anything else.

 

Well I agree that Kessler's manegement didn't handle this very well - but there is nothing wrong with working on several options at the same time - I'm sure Miranda does the same. Miranda got dropped for what Team Palle consideres a better offer - the way it was done should have been different - but the decision to drop the fight seems fair enough.

 

But still a title, and the only title at SMW Kessler can achieve in 2008.

And with a title Kessler is not a risk/reward nightmare like he is today! Winky, Taylor, Bute has all turned down offers to fight Kessler!

 

Yeah whatever...They begged for a title shot vs Mundine. Looking for the easy road to get a belt.

My point is they have already fought and beat Mundine...Kessler isnt looking to prove that he is the best fighter he is looking to get a belt.

If he wanted a fight with Winky all he had to do was call. People can say what they want about Wright but there is one thing you cant say, is that he ducks fighters. I call bullsh*t. Kessler wants that belt so he can call himself CHAMP and go back to fighting former lightweights and bums.:hi:
