Do you believe everything that Goosen says? Because if you do there's a bridge in Philly I'd like to sell you. Damn, not only do you have a hateful heart but you are one blind mofo that need's to let go of Dan Goosen's nuts.

How is PW fighting Quintana any different than Margarito fighting Mosely? What do want me to believe, nobody except Quintana wanted or would fight Williams because he's the most feared man in boxing?:patsch Please... Why is it okay for Williams to take an easy fight after winning a belt but not okay for Margarito (although many would argue, including me, that even a 37 yr old SSM is in no way an easy fight)? You can't have it both ways without being a hater. I think it was a mistake for Williams to opt to fight Quintana, which is what started this whole arguement in the first place and with hindsight should be a no-brainer. Why'd he take that fight? Was that the best money fight that he could get at the time?

That was Goosen's call, the man you vehemently defend at all costs and apparently tells you everything you think you know. You're over here talking **** about Arum and acting like Goosen's a saint. Why do you think Top Rank's success dwarfs that of Goosen? What did Arum do for Clottey you ask? Well he got him a fight with Margarito, Chico Corrales, and Zab Judah. That's two opportunities at a belt, one of which he won. What the hell has Goosen done for Williams besides make him Margarito's mandatory, a fight that was made possible by Margarito taking on Arum? What other big fights has Goosen gotten him? In fact, when was the last time he even put on a PPV card? I saw the Toney card on VS the other night.:rofl And you wonder why Margarito wants Arum to promote it considering how Oquendo got ass-raped (not that I think the first fight was a rob, I had it scored 7-5 for Williams). Do you think PW would have any trouble getting these fights if he was signed with Top Rank with everyone else? Do you think he'd still be fighting on BAD? The only thing I've seen Goosen and Haymon do is talk **** about everyone. Fact is, Goosen has PW and Arum has just about everyone else, and they hate each others guts. Logic would say, its easier for 1 man rather than many to cross the border and get to the promised land. I just want see the fighters get good fights and good paydays and the only person I see stopping PW from being in these fights is the same man who's nuts are in your mouth for no good reason, Dan Goosen, and his PIC Al Haymon. Even if Goosen has the $4 million to give to Margarito (which isn't really known or been verified by anyone, all we know is Arum isn't too confident about it), you're expecting Arum to turn the other cheek and help out a business rival who's been doing nothing but disrespecting and bad-mouthing him both behind closed doors and out in the press. You're also assuming that it would be more money for Margarito than he makes against Cotto. I really don't know all the in or outs of Margarito's deal with Arum, but I do know that a rematch with Williams right now is a borderline PPV and would definitely not come anywhere near what a rematch with Cotto would do, and considering that these guys make a percentage of the PPV buys, it would in all likelihood would make more money for Margarito. That is the economic reality.

What exactly do you want to see? You want to see Margarito leave Arum and try buyout his contract and/or get sued, and thus lose his fights with Mosely, Cotto, and possibly Clottey again, just so he can fight Paul Williams right now? And then what do you want, you wanna see Williams beat him into oblivion in a one-sided demolition and end his career so that he dies penniliess and broke on the streets of Tijuana? Is that what would make him a man and earn your respect in your eyes? Would that satisfy you? Is that what haters dream about?

Better, more realistic question is, do you want to see Williams continue to be matched up with no-names and has-beens on BAD and/or Versus in obscurity and never make any real money or reach his full potential? Because that's what you're really arguing for right now.

What an absolute hater! Rafael's words just drip with jealousy. He wishes he could accomplish a tenth of what Calzaghe has. Its not Joe's fault that he beat the **** out of all of your favorite fighters.

When did I say I got my info from Goosen?

I want you to find me one post where I get on Margo's case for fighting Mosley, just find me one.

Neither one of us knows for sure.

I haven't even mention Goosen's name yet alone defended him.

Goosen has gotten Williams two title shots, the same as Clottey.

How long did Margo toil in obscurity? The guy was damn near 30 before he got a push from Top Rank. I think Arum is a good promoter, but don't act like signing with him is going to make you a star. Look how the career of the Peterson Bros. has stalled since being with Top Rank. Look how long Floyd was fighting on BAD when he was with Arum. Floyd had been a champion for about 7 years before he got on PPV.

Again, have you seen me even defending Goosen. I do, however, see you nut ridding Arum every chance you get.

You're once again arguing points I never made. Margarito can fight whoever he likes. That's not even the debate. However, Team Margo has avoided a rematch for Williams. You can justiy it anyway you'd like, but that's the truth.

I honestly don't know where you're coming from. This whole thing started from your false contention that Williams turned down a fight with Margo and Clottey after Cintron pulled out. That's the argument. The rest of this crap you're talking about is irrelevant. Margo can fight whoever he wants, it's his career.

Again, you're going off into a tagent and bringing in issues that we weren't even debating. Williams is a talented fighter, and the networks are interested in him. He just has to keep winning and the big fights will come.
