Respected columnist Dan Rafel's updated p4p list

ricky doesnt deserve to be above jermaine taylor. despite taylors losses, his wins over b-hop are far better than hatton's wins over kosta and castillo. winky wright shouldn't be up there so high. i thought these lists were supposed to be current. with that said, has winky been more impressive than someone like taylor over the past 3 years. i also dont agree with joe being in front of pac b/c pac's competition is much better than joe's. DLH probably shouldnt even be up there or closer to the bottom. i like DLH but hatton,taylor,and spinks have all done more than him in the last few years. how in the world is nate campbell in there just b/c he beat diaz. i do remember people sweating paul williams. he was in people's top 20, but now that quintana beat him, he's not in there anymore. this is actually ok with me. my problem is why would you have nate campbell in over carlos quintana? quintana's victories over julio and williams are better than campbell over diaz.

 

Calzaghe has stayed put at 168 how does that make him better than Manny Pacquio who fought south of 130 and has dominated since all while moving up in weight ?

Oh yeah, and I agree with people's thoughts on Wlad. Can someone please give this man some props. he has been pretty dominant in the heavy weight division for quite some time now. he should probably be in the top10 or at worse top 15.

 

I agree, people are writing him off cause he lost to B-Hop :-( DLH shouldn't be on the list. I would put Hatton and Haye before him.

 

Great post, totally agree with everything here. How the hell is Cotto below Hopkins at this point in his career.

The columnist got it right, putting both Pacman and Marquez below, rather than above Calzaghe at least. They both showed their flaws, Joe Calzaghe doesn't have flaws.

nope he doesn't. pac and marquez both fought great and should not be penalized for fighting very close. if calzaghe will look very good against hopkins, then he will deserve #2 spot over pacman. if he utterly demolishes him, #1 over floyd.
