But broken down round by round? Calzaghe out worked and out hustled Hopkins in more rounds. It was made difficult for some to view that, because Hopkins landed cleaner shots, he just didn't land enough of them.

Not bothering with the other twit, Just because you don't know who a fighter is, speaks only for the fact that you're completely ignorant about boxing.

 

Also, Hopkin's disgraceful, cowardly tactics late in the fight when he was sucking wind. He repeatedly faked lowblows to get undeserved but desperately needed rest breaks from Joe's onslaught and deliberately used his head as a third arm. Once when the ref would no longer buy his lowblow faking antics he tried to get yet another rest period by deliberately hitting Joe in the groin opposite the ref and Joe would have none of it. He just fought through the foul and gave Hopkins no respite and went on to dominate that round. Hopkins disgraced himself in that fight and certainly deserves no rematch. Joe beat him up and showed to the world what a punk and a thug Hopkin's is both in and out of the ring. Hopkins needs to stick with beating up one-dimensional fighters like Pavlik. Greats like Joe Calzaghe and prime Roy Jones will outbox and outhustle him every time.

 

That says more about your lack of knowledge of the sport outside your own backyard than it does anything else.

Give it a rest mate, I know you're German but no ****er dodged hometown Sven. He got gifts time and again and couldn't crack an egg. Great defensive boxer at his best, but Calzaghe wanted to fight him and would have utterly dominated and dismantled him.
