Now, before you all berate me, I just want to say that I’m not exactly sure what Haye’s intentions were with the glassing/bottling. It’s not yet clear to me whether he meant to release the bottle before landing the punch, or completely forgot about the bottle in a fit of rage, or in fact knew exactly what he was doing and what damage a fist clenching a bottle could do.

I just want to forget that for the moment, and focus on what Haye’s ultimate goal was.

All weekend Chisora has been acting like a grade-A ****. From slapping Vitali at the weigh-in to spitting water in Waldimir’s face, the man was on a mission to insult every person in his way, and celebrated the fact that he could get away with it. He was on a high. He was lapping up every moment. Not only did he publicly embarrass two dominant heavyweight champs and laughing in their face while they couldn’t do a thing about it, but he just gave in a performance that undoubtedly raised his stock in the heavyweight division. The man thought he was invincible; especially outside of the ring.

Then along comes David Haye :hi:

He isn’t a Klitschko. He’s not a gentlemen. He won’t let you step to him aggressively without giving some of it back in equal measures. He won’t entertain the possibility of you laying your hands on him, without laying his on you first. That’s just how he is. So when he sees a man who’s been acting like a consistent ***** for the past 48 hours, charging towards him, yelling "tell it to my face", removing his jacket like he’s ready to brawl.....then I don’t blame Haye one bit for lashing out at him. He’s already seen the Klitschkos stand and do nothing – giving Chisora a false sense of invincibility – and he wasn’t about to make the same mistake. Ain’t no chance in hell was he going to let Chisora treat him in the same way. Most of you may think the bottling was a tad bit extreme, but what the heck was Chisora expecting? He’s walking towards him like the maniac he is, he clearly sees Haye already holding a bottle, and so did he want him to kindly ask for a moment to safely put the bottle away? I found his shocked reaction quite amusing, too – How ****ing dare he attack me like that? Yeah, Del-Boy, how ****ing dare he . Take it to the streets, and you’ll get dealt with like you’re on the streets. Simple as that. Haye isn’t the type of person that’ll stand there and let you walk over him :deal. I've been a harsh critic of Haye over the past couple of years, but right there, he earned my respect for a brief moment.

So, with that done, let’s just hope they do the professional thing and settle it in the ring. Haye-Chisora would be absolutely huuuuuge in the UK. I’m not sure how easy it’ll be to make – conflicting TV networks – but there’s got to be a way round it. The heavyweight division is currently experience a sudden air of excitement, and it’ll be a crime if it doesn’t make the most out of it. Haye-Chisora, Chisora-Wladimir, Haye-Vitali, are all brilliant fights that both the hardcore and casual fans would tune in to. Let’s hope all three of them at least materialise.

Look forward to see what develops....

This is The Fight has to be made. I have said this long time even when it was not much of a meaningfull fight. But now...

Man, these two got to Fight. it would be a fukin FIGHT. :deal with astonishing and thrilling atmosphere. and the build up for the Fight:shock:

Both would make SICK LOAD of Money too. and the winner of the fight(I would favour Haye clearly)...

Only thing what bothers me and would make the fight little bit questionable is that Dereck has lost 3 fights in a row(at books). in reality 2 losses and not in row.

    Can you FUKIN imagine it...

    Good post.

On the subject of the bottle. It all happened so quick that I think Haye probably thought he could get a shot off with the bottle in his hand, he lands with the knuckle and not the bottle afterall. He probably did more damage to himself than he did to Chisora with that shot. A fully clenched fist landing on Chisora probably would have put him out, especially considering he had just gone 12 rounds.

I agree, as they say 'you send a thief to catch a thief' The Klits are too dignified to get involved in **** like that outside the ring, they must have loved seeing Haye take care of business for them.

Yeah, I think he just threw and forgot all about the bottle. All that "he glassed me man!" was hilarious. No dereck, he just chinned you.

Thanks. Yeah, I hope he hasn't damaged his hand. By the way, seeing Hook!'s avatar above, did you see Haye knock off the trainer's red cap? :lol You really couldn't make this shot up.

I agree with all this. Chisora loves beeing a bully. Haye did what Wlad or Vitali should have done already.

It happened so quick that he had to punch Chisoras coach afterwards and that threw a camera stand on his own promoter :nut:lol:
