Sean Watson beat Kristen Laight pts
Jon Slowey beat Robin Deacon pts
    Micheal Roberts beat Al Hamidi
Gary Mc Millian Tko'd Martin King

A very entertaining nights boxing with some of Scotlands finest
prospects on show,Sean Watson fighting and naturally bigger man showed the power he pocesses by landing several vicious punches in his fight and fair play to Laight for taking them shots.
Jon Slowey showed good skill and movement against Deacon and won every round comfortably.
Michael Roberts had a great educational fight against war horse Al Hamidi,Roberts in only his 4th fight showed fast hands and good combinations against a very tough man indeed.
Star of the show must go to Gary,he boxed excellently and imo has improved considerably lately,he landed some great body shots to halt his opponent who never gave up trying right to the end.
The future of Scottish boxingis in a very healthy state and a great fight for the future would be Watson v Slowey for the Scottish title.
Also at whatever weight John McCallum wants to fight David Brophy at Middle or Super Middle for the Scottish Title.

I beleive Ross Henderson if and when he turns pro beats he very handily,Tommy has a habit of saying all his fighters are this and that hes got one Scottish champion at present in Lee Mc Allistar whos a good fighter but should now fight Frankie Gavin to see if he can cut it at top domestic level imo

I liked the looks of Michael Roberts a few weeks ago at Bellahousten.

Watson was the one that fought Burns in a exhibition was he not? his opponenet didn't turn up.

you really have a hard on for lee mcallister don't you billy!! when he was lightweight it was he should be fighting willie limond he wins at light welter now you keep mentioning frankie gavin.

imo you should concentrate on your own fighters without trying to match up fights with other peoples boxers.

i remember jon slowey fighting as an amateur he is a tidy boxer. tbh i didn't really rate watson as an amateur and would take slowey to out box watson easy.

The two fought a couple of times I believe. I think Slowey beat him in the Scottish in 2010 but Watson may have beaten him before that. In fact all three of the boys - Roberts, Watson and Slowey must have fought each other several times.

i don't think watson ever beat slowey. i'm sure that slowey and mick roberts fought a good few times with both boys having success against the other.

Watson will fight Jon once hes had a bit more experience,i beleive Watsons adapted better to the pros and if the fight were over 10 or 12 rounds imo Watson would stop Jon

i agree to a certain extent but frankie is high risk for low reward imo. what would you rather do for one of your fighters, fight frankie for the commonwealth belt or challenge for the european belt? i think i'd pick the european fight tbh.

Liow reward dont talk pish,Lee would be the man to have beaten the only world amateur champion and his profile would go through the roof, then we can start listening to the claims he makes until such times he should try to become the best in UK which he isnt at present and earn the right to fight for the euro title, wouldnt that be about right?
