Thanks for all the support fellas!!! First off, my opponent dropped out at the last second.... Sucks but life goes on.. The put me in with a 6"2 175 pounder, where as im 5"7 160.... **** it! I won the first round, he won the second but my nose was bleeding pretty bad (could be fractured). Between rounds 2-3 the ring doctor said if the bleeding can't be stopped I will have to stop the fight. Well, the bleeding didn't stop and the fight was halted. :-( Boy was I pissed! But I gave it my best, wanted to keep fighting. Going to take some rest for 2 weeks and then Im shooting for the 140 pound division. Should make some noise there! :deal 7.12.10 ADDED VIDEO! do you fight amateurs or Pros... you're too high in weight either way you need to lose a lot of pounds and get down to 140 or less as a 5"7"' fighter you wont have much sucess fighting at 160 :hat
Hope you get better from your experience. It's the only way you'll learn. You wanna be a champion gotta fight like one. Good luck to you man.
5'7, 160? Damn! I'm 5'6, 145, and my trainer wants me to lose some weight to compete. I think 5'7 is way to short to be a middleweight...140 might suit you well, though.
It happens but don't let stuff like this discourage you. Take your career a day at a time and make yourself the best you possibly can. Update us on your career an I hope you perform at your best with no interruptions such as bleeding. Wish you luck!
