**** thats some heavy division jumping. Sorry to hear about you loss! Post the vid. Good luck in your next one
**** i'm 5'7" and fought at 119 and 126.. now i fight at 160 but is just for fun in the military since most soldiers cant fight for **** :hat
Man youll want to lose some weight, its always best to start off lower and build your weight up naturally. Im your size and fought at 140-147 even though my walking around weight is about 154-160. Train harder at the gym but be carefull not to dehydrate yourself. focus on getting down one weight division at a time and you should be seeing better luck mate :bbb
I'm about 6ft and i fight at lightweight in the ams! 5ft 7.... And a middleweight.... Have u ever won a fight?!
There is no such thing as a "commission" when you box as an amateur. It's all under USA Boxing and it's up to the LBCs to enforce the rules, and a lot of the time they turn blind eyes to things to make matches. I fought a guy who weighed 175 when I weighed in at 161 once; I just happened to have the advantage that I was tall for 165.
i respect anyman who stepos between the ropes. really puts things into perspective for an armchair fan such as myself. you know i can spout **** all day long about boxing, but ive never gone face to face with an opponent before. best of luck with the career mate!
your problem isn't weight its technique, you jump around crazy and you don't fight to a tempo. More shadow boxing in the mirror, stop going straight back and winging shots win your eyes clothes trying to get lucky, work on timing and you will be straight
unlucky, how many fights you had mate, anyway stick to the roadwork its your best friend. you can always come back from this
