In the main event, John "The Rooster" Wright of Cameron, WV scored a unanimous decision of Kenny George of Elkins, WV in a 6 round attraction. Wright pressed the action from the opening bell with a brawling, straight ahead style. A bloodied George proved game, but was unable to mount any prolonged attacked. "The Rooster" improved his record to 4-1 and captured the Wheeling Island Light Heavyweight belt in the process. On the undercard, Pittsburgh's Jesse Lubash stayed unbeaten and upped his record to 6-0 with a 4 round unanimous decision over Jason Jordan of Akron, Ohio. Lubash showed superior boxing skill throughout the match and escaped with a relatively easy decision. Crowd favorite Todd "Crazy T" Carney from Moundsville, WV scored a majority decision over Danny Shull out of Winchester, VA. This was an action packed slugfest from the opening to closing bell with both fighters landing power shots throughout, with crowd favorite Carney escaping with a razor thin decision. Mike "Steel City" Strauss of Pittsburgh dominated Ohio's Dave Maund in a 4 rounder. All judges had it a 40-36 virtual shut-out for Strauss, who used his superior boxing acumen to land at will against the "Rebel" Maund. Strauss upped with record to 7-0 with the victory. Jamel Hicks from Fairmont, WV had an electrifying professional debut by scoring a 1st round knock-out of Todd Bragg. Hicks landed a solid right hand to the temple, and Bragg was unable to get to his feet before the referee reached his 10 count. In another 4 rounder. Derrick Ward of Ohio scored a unanimous decision over Pennsboro, WV's John "Jawbreaker" Colvin. The southpaw Ward was able to land punches at will on Colvin, eventually busting his nose open. A bloodied and battered Colvin proved game, but he was no match the craft lefty on this evening. In the opening bout of the night, Mike Snyder scored a TKO victory over Alec Anderson after Anderson failed to answer the bell for the 3rd round. In the battle of WV natives, Snider's aggressive and pressing attack proved too much for his opponent and earned him the victory.
