The big players at 147, with people they have fought, or scheduled to fight.

may: mitchell, judah, baldomir, hatton, jmm, mosley

mosley: de la hoya, forrest, collazo, cotto, margo, mayweather

    berto: rivera, collazo, urango, quintana

pac: de la hoya, cotto, clottey

margo(like it or not he is comin back): williams, cintron, cotto, mosley, clottey

clottey: margo, baldomir, corrales, judah, cotto, pac

have i missed anyone out? this is strictly for current 147 boxers.

rank these boxers in resume order, not counting losses as negative, just on opponents at 147.

    i have it as

    mosley
    may
    margo
    clottey
    berto
    pac

    mosley
    marg
    clottey
    may
    berto
    pac

Got a little confused about where I should place pac & may but this sums up my list.

He's in 154 now so I'm not sure if he could be added.

You're not talking about that middleweight dude, are you?

    Plus, he's ducking Margarito's rematch.

    Moved up to fight foreman

  10. Cotto
    Mosley
    Margarito
    Clottey
    Pacquiao
    Berto
    Mayweather

By that logic, shouldn't we exclude Margarito as well? His next fight is at 154 also.

Hmmm basically i drew up the list from who i thought the top 6 campaigners would be at ww.

i think he will start fighting at 147 but i could be wrong. i don't see cotto or williams fighting below 154 again

You think berto has a better 147 resume than floyd?

  13. Look at Floyd's opponents:

Hatton - not even a Welterweight. Fought once previously at Welterweight, got a gift decision and after the fight admitted he had no business fighting at WW and dropped back down to 140. 1-1 career record at WW and realistically should be 0-2.

Marquez - also not a WW. Never fought anywhere close to WW previously and will never fight at WW again. 0-1 career record at WW.

Sharmba Mitchell - only fought once previously at WW, and was 1 fight removed from getting the absolute **** beaten out of him by Tszyu. 2-2 career record as a WW.

Zab Judah - 8-5 as a WW and was coming off a loss to another poor fighter by the name of:

Carlos Baldomir - it says enough that Baldomir is the best name on Floyd's WW resume.

Aside from Baldomir (who is 45-12 himself), Floyd's other WW opponents have a combined record of 11-10 in the WW division.

I think that wins and leval of compotion at the time is more important than just names.
may: mitchell, judah, baldomir, hatton, jmm, mosley

mosley: de la hoya, forrest, collazo, cotto, margo, mayweather

    berto: rivera, collazo, urango, quintana

pac: de la hoya, cotto, clottey

margo(like it or not he is comin back): williams, cintron, cotto, mosley, clottey

clottey: margo, baldomir, corrales, judah, cotto, pac
Bold = win against underline = sechuled
    1. Mayweather.
    2.Berto
    3. Mosley
    4.Pacquiao
    5.Margito
    6. Clottey
