Skill alone is not enough to overcome other aspects of boxing. There is mind games, bravery, and dedication that can't be be judged of 1 fight.

It can if Superman is the fighter. I would make Superman p4p #1 without him fighting anyone.

Where in the rulebook does it say aliens can't compete? He's a human being that happens to be from another planet. He was also raised in the U.S and has citizenship(well, at least Clark Kent does)

I guess we can throw some ****in 600 pound gorilla in the ring and call them the P4P #1 all time, since no man would beat them in the ring with gloves.

    Nice thread CHJ.:good

I think humanoid being would be more accurate a description of Supes. Bobo the gorilla was raised in the US and knows sign language. He communicates with humans and lives around them. He ain't human.

Well don't make the rules here . . . we just discuss. Every boxing bodies, organization including the Ring has it's own formula on computing their ratings.

On Pacquaio's case he became # 2 P4P by way of his victory over MAB, Morales in 126 and 130 lbs weight class. It's not based on the JMM draw and close SD win in the second fight. Adding into account that he was already a 2 divisional champ before he beat MAB for the ring belt at 126. At 130 irregardless how close it maybe . . Pac won the WBC BELT and the ring Belt from JMM . . . his third divisional title. Pac became #1 after PBF retired . . . and Pac validated this by winning a fourth divisional title at 135.

JMM? How many P4P fighters has he fought and what's the result? Only Pac . . . and result? A draw and an SD LOSS. Note: Barrera is no longer a P4P fighter when JMM fought and beat him.

Calzaghe? Who are the opponents biggest name in his resume? Kesller? Lacy? Old Bhops? Both Kesller and Lacy are dangerous opponents but are never close to being a p4p fighter.

Where do we find all these information and validations . . . from their resume right? :deal

That ****in Gorilla can't be taught how to box. He would go in there are break all sorts of rules. Gorillas definately wouldn't be allowed in the ring. A humanoid would probably be ok though. What about Spider-Man though? He's a human who's DNA was spliced with a spider. I'd imagine he would do some serious damage in the ring. Nobody outside of Superman would beat him.

I feel extremelly confused honest CHJ. The Superman film is supposed to give an accurate portrayal of his abilities exception made for kryptonite and these make him the best fighter in the World... But what is this Superman film other than his resume against other superheroes and men? We can't really call him Superman just at first sight or because some guys say so. Looks can be deceiving... We need something solid here and that should be that ACCURATE portrayal of his abilities. We simply can't imagine that scenario to start things with b'cause that wrong doing can lead us to underrate what you call greater fighters and elect men that are supposedly better but not greater... To make matters worse inside my poor brain, I have to consider Joe Calzaghe in the poll options and that seems to have nothing to do with the theory described in the post itself. Seems like you are making fun of us and expect us not to make fun of you.
