Marciano reighned as champion without elite skills,unless you actually think hes an ELITE skilled fighter,than you dont actually know what REFINED skills look like. Even he admits he was not talented and had to train much harder to over come better technical boxers throught Grit and determination.

It doesnt matter skills is only one piece ,without right trainer and mental fortitude skills will do little ,bc there are MANY skilled guys out there who never become champions.I went over every aspect of this your to stupid to move on..lol

ATG fighters arent measured with just skill you DOPE....they are measured with career relevance,inside and outside the ring you bafoon...but keep getting annihilated by me on here this is now becoming a hobby at this point!

 

Marciano was ELITE at the style he brought to the table....Not to mention qualities such as chin, toughness, stamina etc. were all top notch.

 

Marciano was not elite.Toughness isnt an elite skill...nor is chin...having a chin isnt a skill its an attribute,power is also not a true skill its an attribute.Stamina could be a skill bc one could develope that out of nothing bc anyone could build their wind up...one cannot magically decide to become apower puncher..Marciano was a rugged unrefined fighter even he knew this.,he didnt even set many shots up with the jab .....

Just bc you pressure someone that doesn't make it an elite skill.Actual skills do ,like slippiing punches/utilizing a superior jab,counter punching /speed/footwork ...most these things Marciano was not ...he was tough and durable for HIS era,thats what made him a ATG NOT skills,but his adaptability to win over faster guys who had better technical boxing.
