Roy Jones and it's not even close.

Toney struggled in a lot of fights and hardly ever won clearly. I scored McCallum II for McCallum, the Johnson fight a draw, Griffin I a draw, Griffin II one point win for Toney, i had 116-112 Thadzi and the same score for Tiberi in their favor. I had him lose the Rahman fight as well.

Roy Jones on the other hand, did not even have a competitive fight until Griffin I, that's over nine years as a professional with fights against Toney himself and Hopkins. And he avenged that DQ "loss" by first round knockout. After that, it took another six years before he was really beat.
In reality, no fighter was had been more than a little competitive with Jones for fourteen years as a professional. Toney's life and death struggles don't even compare to that. It's a pity he missed out on a few fighters like Tiger Michelchewski, Benn and McClellan, but in reality, his opponents weren't keen on fighting him either.

If you ask who the better fighter is past age 35, then it's Toney. But i prefer to judge a fighter on what he does during his prime.

Toney has the better resume and its not even close. Roy pick and chose most of the real opponents that were threats and didn't face all comers like Toney. Toney has Nunn, barkley, Holyfield, Jirov, washington, Ruiz, littles ect on his resume. More undefeated threats and world champions. Now compare them to the fighters that Jones beat.
