Khan and Pacquiao are being compared to each other a lot at the moment. The comparison is unfair as Khan has had 33 fights and Pacquiao has had almost double as many fights (64). There is no doubt that Pacquiao is greater than Khan at this moment in time and it is likely to stay that way.

My question is though, who has the greater resume after 33 fights?

    Khan: 30-3
    Pacquiao: 31-2

Pacquiao's resume at this stage does not feature any household names and 2 early KO defeats. He was a 2 weight champion (lineal at flyweight).

Khan's resume features many household names, 1 first round KO defeat, an early KO defeat and a decision loss. Unified champion in 1 division.

Was Pacquiao coddled and protected from KO punchers like Khan has been? What you posted doesn't tell the whole story. Apples and Oranges. Other than maybe Wilder there hasn't been a fighter more babied and coddled than Khan.

You are hinting that the answer is Khan then?

Garcia, Prescott and Maidana are all KO punchers. I know he lost to 2 of them but he didn't avoid them.

Yup. It's simply a matter of timing, though. But this thread is pure silliness. I can say that Pac's last 3 fights > Khan's entire body of work up until this point.

Sorry but Prescott and Garcia are not power punchers. Prescott has especially been exposed as a can crusher his power was non existent against anyone other than Khan at that level.

You have to look at the whole picture. Your original post did not tell the whole story and I am certainly no Pacquiao fan.

why not compare their age as well?

    2006 Pacquiao was 28 y/o.

Pac turned pro at 16 in order to put money on the table to feed his impoverished family. There's no contest.

I don't know but Khan could've beat everyone on Pac's resume when Pac fought them.

No. Cotto would have ktfo khan. So would clottey. And margarito. Even de la Hoya.

PAC had the power to hurt those bigger guys and a iron chin to take their punches.

Khan has very little power and a glass jaw. Bad mix against MANY of pacs prior opponents.

Nah, Cotto's trainer would've told Cotto he's just gonna have to stay on the outside and just be faster than Khan, leading to being embarrassingly outboxed, Clottey would've shelled up just like he did for Pac, actually would've came out less, Margarito wasn't **** without plaster, and DLH was dead.
