If Fury wins: Best win: Wlad > AJs Wlad 2. Wilder > Old Povetkin 3. Chisora = Whyte 4. Chisora =< Parker 5. Hammer < Takam 6. Cunningham< Brazaele Rest of resume < AJ Overall, it would be close, with AJ having more depth, but to me, Furys superior resume at the very top puts him as the #1 hw in the division if he beats Wilder. If Wilder wins: 1. Fury = Old Wlad 2. Ortiz = Povetkin 3. Stiverne< Whyte 4. Washington<< Parker 5. Duhapaus< Takam 6. Scott< Brazaele Rest of resume>> AJs ( Wilder has crushed alot more bums, ie beaten alot of top 20-50 fighters) Again, it would be close. I'd give AJ the slight edge because his three and 4 are a good bit better than Wilders. But anyone saying AJ would still be the clear number one in the division is fooling themselves. Maybe by money, but if the ppv does well, that isn't even night and day anymore.
If Wilder wins, it'll be par with Joshua's, or thereabouts. Maybe a little better, maybe a little worse, depending on how Fury looks. If Fury wins, his resume will take a significant stride ahead of Joshua's. Reigning, active Wlad > Older inactive Wlad. Wilder > Parker or Whyte.
Looking at the totality of each of their opponents, I would say a wash. The Wlad who fought Joshua is better than the Wlad who fought Fury.
Should Wilder-Fury come off, the winner is the best HW in the world. So no need to worry too much about this sort of stuff. If it comes off.
True, Sasha shouldn't be overlooked. Has an underrated chance at an upset, especially since AJ literally said he is overlooking Povetkin.
