Resume this resume that, all i ever ****ing hear on this site is ****ing resume. i can't even muster the words to tell how much this annoys me.
RESUME!!! Ha just kidding but of course a resume matters. You cant fight Walter Matthyse and Sharmba Mitchell's all your life and be called the champion. If you know what i mean.
Resume is overdone here...but how else can a fanboy attempt explain away a head to head loss, without dusting off the old resume...???
no because ability is a strong word, an emotive word. unlike " resume " which evokes visions of a computer nerd with no true understanding of what boxing is all about.
A resume is the accomplishments of a fighter, what he's proved, what he's done in the sport. Ability is just what a fighter is capable of doing, it doesn't really encompass his worth.
i prefer the word legacy. maybe it's cos i'm not american but these cyber-wallies spouting on about fighters they barely know " resumes " really irks me. hey carry on , don't mind me , just calm down the old resume ****.
so saying the word " resume " encompasses a fighters worth ? you've got me doing it now, i can't stop typing resume. resume !
...but what is a legacy if not a result of what a fighter did and who he beat. In other words....his RESUME. :blood
The value of resume can be greatly exagerated. Take John Ruiz. You'll often see posters who don't know too much about him and his career saying things like "he's got a lot of good names on his resume." Of course, they either don't know, or don't care, that he cheated against virtually all of those opponents by holding excessively or faking low blows. Resume is something to look at, yes - but you need to know what actually happened in the fights!
see i dont think resume is that bad i hate the prime for prime threads those fights will never happen people just need to get over it!!
