How would you guys compare these guys resumes and their movement through the weights?

    and secondly

Where do you rate Oscar on an all time list?

Pacquiao's resume is 2 steps ahead of DLH's.

    Pac is a 15-25 ATG
    DLH is a 65-80 ATG

DLH would have had a better resume. Unfortunately he failed to win those fights.

Other than Bhop a legit loss at middle and Pac the loss at the end of his career, DLh has been in very tight fights where he has lost and some can be argued that he won.

Pac has some weaker losses and it can be argued that DLH has some better overall wins.

Pac has definitely moved up weight better. I think DLH is being under rated here and on this board generally.

If you take the controversy out of it and just look at who has the official W on their records i'll take DLH. Quartey and sweet pea make him an ATG alone. Not to mention a close fight with Tito and a W over Vargas. The guy has a great resume and Pacs is great too but i'll take DLH. If we are going for what they really deserved? I dunno everyone has their own opinions so the discussion would never end.

Maybe I am off base but I agree with you and the nature of a guys losses mean something. DLH resume is filled with top fighters, just packed. The guy has beaten some incredible opponents and is almost always competitive even in his losses, which were all close other than Bhop and pac.

On fights they actually won, id give it to Pac. But on overall competition i just might give to DLH. Wins will always be heavier than fights you lost doesnt matter who you fought (at the elite level)

That is your opinion and your entitled to it. But, in my thinking it really does matter who you fought even if you lose and how you looked in that fight. I mean id rather see a guy fight the best, which DLH regularly did, and lose a tough fight, like mosley, rather than fight less tough guys and win.

I guess I am having a hard time ranking pac over DLh in an all time sense.

Im having trouble ranking pac higher yes. DLH's resume is full of all time greats. He either won or was very competitve in all of his fights except pac. Even when Bhop Ko's him he won some rds.

I mean we can list them all person by person, but I think thats a bit frivolous since DLH has such a great resume, to me it is better than pacs.

We regularly criticize wlad for losing to weak comp and yet manny has done the same. DLh has never lost to weak competition. DLh has only lost to HOF type fighters and has definitely beaten more HOF fighters than pac has.

    mmmmm ???? , good one .

Resume for resume id go for Oscar .

You have to take into consideration who fought the harder opponents on a regular basis , that would be Oscar , he beat Tito , no doubt , imo he took 1 of the Mosley fights (2nd imo) , went life and death with Floyd and was beating BHop until the KO .

ATG , that would have to go Pac , he has evolved into the freak he is today where as Oscar tailed off , Pac has just gotten stronger and now looks practically unbeatable .

Just one other point I just checked out. DLH has never as a pro fought a guy with a losing record, that is from fight number 1.

    Thats a pretty incredible statement.

One guy fought and frequently came up short against elite competition.

The other guy fought and has almost always beaten elite competition.

Pacquiao is definitely higher, all the more so because he's beating guys bigger than him, while the wins DLH has over two ATGs in Chavez and Whitaker were both badly faded and half his size. (And questionable with Sweet Pea). When facing guys who were both top fighters and the same dimensions as him, DLH's record is checkered.

So by your logic...even if some nobody fought and lost against the top ATG's in the world you will rank him higher than someone who won against lesser opponents?

Kinda hard to put someone higher if he actually lost the meaningful fights in his resume dont you think? Pac won his meaningful fights in devastating fashion..you cant look any better than that..

This is the kicker and makes it hard for me to say outright DLH is the greater in an all time sense scenario. I mean DLH was crazy good almost unbeatable in the mid to late 90's

Pac on the other hand isnt even done yet and has really bloomed. But, when we rank people on the ATg list we have to consider their overall resume.
