    Delahoya's 6 losses were to:
    Prime Tito Trinidad (very controversial)
Prime Shane Mosley X2 (close fights)
Bernard Hopkins (at middleweight or 157lbs or whatever is was)
Floyd Mayweather (granted he did make FMJ move up to 154)
Manny Pacman (at WW) Now at the time this was seen as a shock, but since has been proven that Pacman is actually a better fighter at WW then he was a few years ago.

What is consistent here? Every one of the 5 fighters to beat Oscar are and will long be considered in the top 10 P4P fighters of our era in terms of skill and ability. And 4 of them, still today, are in the top 10 P4P list. Oscar has lost to the very best and even

    Pacquiao is Top15, imo.
    Oscar is Top50.

Pacquiao beat Barrera x2, Morales x2, Larios, Marquez, old De la Hoya, Hatton, Cotto. He jumped from 105 pounds to 145.

De la Hoya beat old Chavez x2, old Whitaker, old Hector Camacho, Ike Quartey, Fernando Vargas and Ricardo Mayorga. He jumped from 130 to 160 pounds (but only had success until 154).

Oscar has fought every fighter on the current Ring P4P list
    Manny
    Floyd
    Shane
    Hops
    JMM

How can anyone knock Oscar De la Hoya? :patsch

Dude, why did you put "old chavez"?? He was a world champion and still on the P4P list when Oscar met him. If you wanna play that game, put Old Morales too and old barrera (the 2nd fight)

I think if only DLH had beat BHop, an obvious bigger guy, Floyd or Pac loses will be nothing.

The point the guy is making is that De La Hoya in every fight barring Pacquiao in his career was a competitive fight , he beat Tito i mean come on man he got robbed on that one , he took Mosley to life and death twice and many he beleive he was on the recieving of a bad decision or 2 there , i mean this is a guy who fought for world title's from his 16th fight onwards practically , when Pacquio was into his 16th fight he was a nobody .

Pac has been stopped by 2 nobody's has Oscar ????

You can add Sturm and Gatti to that list !!!!

And you can also add Medgoen Singsurat & Rustico Torrecampo to the list of Manny's defeats !!!!! , yes exactly who are they ???? :good

And if you are gonna give Manny credit for Marquez, give delahoya credit for Sturm. I scored both fights for Marquez and the fight for sturm. So Oscar had success at middlewieight.

if we strictly go by resume, then oscar have fought the better guys, but the "problem" is that pac is a weight jumping phenomon.

so resume slight edge to oscar, regarding am all-time p4p ranking pac is way way ahead.

Well DLH'S should read like this........Quartey= lost, Sturm = lost, Mosley 2= won, Trinidad =won, some will argue Whitaker =Lost.

I think he'd trade Sturm and Quartey for Mosley and Trinidad....it's a wash record wise but wins over more accomplished fighters (certainly Sturm is less accomplished)
