How many plan on seeing this movie?? Not to give anything away but its sort of base on Bob Shatterfield. Well sort of any way. A Homless man in 1997 claims to be boxing legend Bob Shatterfield, True story, of couse knowing Hollywood, there going to jazz it up with all this and that of couse. Bob been dead since 1977.

I rember in 98, or so other old man was claiming to be Freddie Red Cochrane.

What is it with these old men claiming to be past decease champs?? And why do writters always seem to fell for it??

Im not going to see it, its going to be more of a conspiracy move than an actual boxing movie.

How can they make it a conspiracy?? It was a guy claiming to be some one he was not. Just like Freddie Red.

I imagine that I'll see it at some point, but I doubt that I'll go sit in the theatre and pay $10.50 per ticket. Sounds like a good movie to wait for on demand.

because one the report came out in 1997, when a homless guy(Real life) claim he was Bob Satterfield. And any boxing fan should KNOW Bob has been dead since 1977. But yet the guy reported his "Satterfield" story of boxing great to homless anyway, with out looking up the facts. Same thing happen to Freddie Red Cochrane in 1998 when a Olderly man claim he was Red Cochrane, and Ring Magzine publish this guys fake story as Freddie Red.

Sure it happens, BUT we cant also fall for it when we KNOW a guy is dead, and other man is claiming to be him. And than the dang writters fail for it, They publish there reports with out no background check.

I think when I turn 80 or so, I going to claim to be VK.

This is not a new story. Speak to the owner of any old, hardcore gym and you'll find over the years countless guys have passed themselves off as former fighters and greats.

Most everybody in the gym know the truth, that they're just sad souls, but figure, what the hell...Whatever gets'em through the night.

I remember a man claimed to be Jeff Candy Slims Merrit outside the Mirage Hotel dressed like a homeless bum, he was ranting and raving about how two men (Tyson and Ruddock ) were getting millions for a recent fight and how he never made anything from once being Don Kings top heavyweight.
