He cleaned house. I’m not wrong. He got robbed against Clenelo blindly. There shouldn’t have been a rematch and he’d likely still be undefeated.
someone posted a round up of all the celebrities, ringside scores from the media, etc. It was like some absurd number having Golovkin winning the first fight, it was like 70 or 80% or higher. At the end of the day, the fans know who won the first fight.
hard to knock out your opponent when he runs all night. Canelo ran around the ring like a ****ing little ***** that whole first fight. He wasn’t boxing he was running. Credit given to him in the rematch where he actually stood in front of him.
Not at all, there are alot of fighters in the hall of fame who are not great. Get over your bum feasting underacheving champ.
Naturally, the Golovkin fans know who they'd have liked the decision to go to. I don't believe the 90% figure, for a moment. That's been conflated with some other wishful groupthink exercise, along the way, in a devolved narrative on the fight in question; a bogus talking point to help ease the fans' pain, perhaps. It distracts from the unusual volume of observers, who called the fight a Draw and, in any event, doesn't matter because the fight actually was scored a Draw.
Whatever works, I suppose. Golovkin had two opportunities to demonstrate his ability against two distinct strategies and couldn't push the envelope, in either bout. So, if the excuse was that Alvarez was "running" in the first contest; what's the excuse for the second?
So you’re just ignoring the couple hundred scores from ringside that were compiled? Lol whatever dude.
Im not talking about the rematch, which was far closer than the first fight. I’m focused on the first fight in this debate. Like I said, agree to disagree.
