    Fanboyism, plain and simple. They hate ANYONE who's a threat to their fave. Irrationally I should add. Look at all the Floyd fans who hate 3G...all because a reporter asked 3G if he would fight Floyd, and said he would. Boom..HATE! And of course, we know the canelo fanboys deal...

    I just have a different opinion and you guys get triggered by it.

    The dude I responded too said that GGG came from EE so therefore he didn't have opportunities to build his legacy like other fighters. That completely false. He had more opportunities than MOST fighters.

    Golovkin giving Canelo a couple of tough fights does nothing to Canelo's legacy. Styles make fights. How you measure a fighter's greatness is by what he accomplished not by how he performed against a fighter. Many legends had some off nights against lesser opponents. Now I'm not even saying GGGs talent and skill set is considerably lower to Canelo's went they fought, but GGG's desire to be great is not on Canelo's level and therefore he will always be rated much much lower than Canelo. GGG did not fight the best available competition, and saying it was because he was avoided is totally false and I'll happily debate that with you or anyone.

    You're stupid :facepalm::loel:

    Floyd is a former Super Feather Weight champion, the FACT that he picked up a title at 154 and dominated 147 are things of a legend.

    If someone disagrees with the idea that Golovkin didn't have the same opportunities as other fighters because he if from EE, and disagrees that had he had those supposed same opportunities he'd be on par with Hagler HAS NOTHING to do with what fighters you like and if Golovkin is a threat.

    For example, I LOVE Jaime Munguia, and I've always said Golovkin probably beats him by KO. So stop with you pathetic BS.

    Golovkin is a talented fighter who did not have the heart to take on the toughest fights available to him. He got used to the easy fights they fed him and the couple times he stepped it up (took high risk low reward) he nearly lost and seemed to.not want those fights anymore.

    This is true, GGG passed on meaningful fights against guys like Lara who brought "no money" in favor of fighting mandatories like Wade, Monroe ect. Truth is about Lara was he just didnt like his style and was not 100% confident of beating him, so the myth nobody wanted to fight him is busted.

    People are going to say, "Lara was a 154 pounder" blah blah blah.. Hes a MW now(Lara), and if he(GGG) beats Murata Which in reality will probably be a cake walk for him, Will most likely gain mando status. Lets see if he fights Lara when he becomes the dreaded "MANDO"!

    Lara had a draw and a close win vs Martirosyan, we all know Martirosyan became a bums bum after GGG tore him apart like a pitbull with his favorite chew toy, in two rounds. How does a near elite 154lbs fighter that should even have a win over Jermell Charlo become a infamous bum? Don't be supprised if GGG destroys Lara.

    You can't seriously be thinking that (1) Vanes beat Charlo and that (2) beating a two years off, last legs Vanes in his only serious 160 fight was a notable victory.

    Guess who GGG could've fought instead? Lara.

    Not surprising that you **** on Lara as an opponent even though he'll be the "dreaded mando".

    I agree with you that he beat Canelo twice and that ginger was competitive. That said Canelo doesn't want anything to do with a third fight and GGG can't exactly force him into one.
