But no Ibeaubuchi, Tyson, Holyfield, Ruiz, Rahman, Maskaev, Toney. Now the top HWs like Haye, Povetkin, Brock, Brewster, and Chagaev are lined up or been taken out by Wlad and not Vitali. Compare the amount of ranked fighters Wlad and Vitali have both faced and Wlad is yards ahead.

Vitali turned pro in November 1996. You need at least three years before facing a top ten fighter.

So let's say its November 1999. Ike was in jail by then. Holyfield was past it by then vs Lewis and a year later would be losing to the likes of John Ruiz. Tyson was scheduled to fight Vitali. The two did a tour in Europe, then Danny Williams spoiled the event. Tyson vs. Klitschko was very close to happening. Do you really think Toney or Maskeav would have a chance. Don't kid yourself. By the way Vitali tired to get to Maskeav before Peter did by using his emeritus stats, remember.

Rhaman was scheduled, but Vitali had an injury and it forced him to retire for a while.

A re-match with Lewis would have been great, but Lewis did not want to do it even though he said he would in the press and had a $15,000,000.00 pay day lined up.

Vitali has tired to make fights with Haye and Valuev....they don't want to fight him as of right now.

In another thread, you applauded Vitali for taking on an un-defeated ranked puncher. Is Arreloa suddenly not good enough :)

If you want a 3 month avatar bet on the fight, let me know.

    Ben,

I am intrigued of your interest in your hometown British Fighters. I watched film of Bruce Woodcock and I must say I was impressed with his Strength, toughness, and powerful right hand. In the other thread, people appeared to give him the bad rap....What do you think of him? He is underappreciated in my view.

Danny Williams is garbage, sorry. Herbie Hide is a definite step up.

Yes I did. and I am giving him an applause. If he beats Arreola it will be the biggest victory of his career. Congrats to him. it does not exuse him for the fights he missed out on 1996-2003.

Hide holding the WBO (even considering who he won it against) is a much more noteworthy achievement than anything Williams ever did.

The British Belt Pisses on the WBO belt of that period plain and simple. Its not about belts, its about who you beat and Hide never beat the quality of fighters Williams did

Danny beat Kali Meehan, and a semi retired Mike Tyson and traded wins with the likes of Julius Francis and Michael Sprott. Hide beating a Michael Bentt who was coming off of a win over Tommy Morrison for the WBO is better than anything that Williams did.

On top of that and most importantly, you can watch Danny Williams for about 15 seconds and you'll realize that he's fodder for the finest in the world. Hide, on the other hand had serious power and could mix it up with the best.

Umm tell me who Hide mixed it up with  If Hide heard 2 people mixing it up he'd pass up :yep Hide is a joke plain and simple

Williams is well above ***** Boy, if you think Hide is anything other than a big joke and the definition of glass jaws and a coward you don't know, simple

He wobbled Riddick Bowe and had him in trouble, that's mixing it up with the world's best.

A joke is the shape in which Williams showed up to usually fight in

Hide has beaten nobody. The only 2 good fighters on his record are Bowe and Klitschko, both losses.

Enlighten me on what legends of the ring that Williams has beaten?
