yep Lennox Lewis. I knew when he retired that he would leave an empty division behind him. I dont think he was appreciated fully when he was champ...a boxing fan would give his right nut to have a Lennox Lewis at the top now. we need a heavyweight champion!

Lennox Lewis. The void left by him has been massive.

Nigel Benn & Chris Eubank. There has yet to be a domestic rivalry of world class fighter to match this one.

Barerra and Morales - maybe not now but down the line they will leave a void. Lennox Lewis is an obvious pick. Honourable mentions go to Vargas and Gatti.

I know this does not count. But he should be retired. Prime Roy Jones Jr.

Lewis is also a great pick, he was a great fighter.

Whoever said Mike Spinks.. I agree, he had somethng i loved in a heavyweight. He was a small fighter who looked like the average man on the street , but was like a demon that could summons up the spirit to beat big men like Cooney , Tangstadt and have 2 great fights with a good Larry Holmes.. a wonderful game fighter.. I felt so sad when he was almost forced to fight Mike Tyson.. I honestly think if any man did't really feel comfortable fighting another one, it was the case with Spinks and Tyson. He was out willed.. God bless..
