I believe Lennox could still come back and beat any heavyweight out there save the Klitchko brothers.

Calzaghe is the only guy I can think of though that could come back and still be an elite fighter. He hasn't been out of the ring that long.

Calzaghe would get his ass handed to him by Bute, Ward or Dirrell. He's retired for a reason.

I know some might not agree but I feel DLH could be effective at 154.

I was going to say that Liakhovich would be one of the less ridiculous HW comeback attempts, but apparently he's already started one and has knocked a couple suckas out in recent months. :think

    No.

I'm maybe Ike's biggest fan on ESB (with due respect for your username ) and - just, NO.

The man should arguably only have one loss on his record (depending on how you saw DLH, personally Ike edged it for me...and he beat Forrest <RIP>...and he never should have set foot in the ring with Winky, as that was a worse size mismatch than it was for prime Shane and Ike had lost a step by then in speed and reflexes) - Vargas and that's it. Having him stick around past his sell-by date chasing the brass ring of a second world title just runs the risk of adding more losses to an already abused legacy...each of his last couple of losses was like a nail in the heart.

No need. He accomplished plenty in his career, and everybody who saw him in his prime knows what a head-to-head marvel he was. If he was getting beaten to the punch at 36, no good can come of pushing his luck at 41.

Calzaghe would be the most interesting one to come back. If he hung around too long he'd obviously eventually lose, but I'd love to see him fight Andre Ward right at this moment.

I am a hardcore Calzaghe hater, and that is well documented. However, I agree with those who say Joe could make a comeback. Calzaghe/Cloud? That would be a felony, not a boxing match.

jermain taylor should of stuck around. he was in a prestigeous boxing tourneyment with the best fighters of his division. it seemed pointless to back out of it even if you do lose.
