I don't think he's retired, but he's only had one fight in three years; Vassiliy Jirov. Really bad move to heavyweight for him, I know he went back to cruiser and has done alright but hasn't fought for a title or anything.

Kostya is 40 now though and hasnt fought in 5 years, i hope he doesnt come back.

In all reality Lennox would KO a lot of the bums at heavyweight, the only thing is the public would demand a klit fight and at his age it isnt good for him.

Mayweather could do ok after he retired the other day ;)

Lennox could kick allot of HW ass still, Calzaghe ofcourse, Tyszu if he wasnt too far off his best might be able to beat someone like Cotto, imagine if Tyszu came back and timed his straight right on Pacquaio :D - he'd lose though in reality

No -- and a couple months ago the Arkansa Gazzette said he will be back on Showtime this fall.

Jermaine hasn't officially retired yet, but he's running out of gas.

    King Arthur showed no mercy!

Jermain Taylor had suffered two brutal knockout losses in the final rounds of his recent fights. Though I wish he had been able to remain in the tournament, what he did is going to preserve his longterm health, what bits of it he may have left to preserve. I worry about his ability to communicate ten years down the road. Very likeable guy whose family did the right thing by insisting he take some time off.

As much as I want to see him fight again, I hope he retires and rides off into the sunset with the money he's made in the short time and all he's given to the sport.

Taylor has not retired, and shouldn't IMO. He should build up his confidence against a couple of non-punchers and take one last stab at a title when he's got his mind right.

The only way I'd like to see him play it if he came back is against non-punchers.

Exactly, I think Calzaghe would have more to lose and less to gain from coming back. Years from now, history will judge him less harshly than he is being judged atm.

If he's able to maneuver his way up the rankings against those non-dangerous types, though, and a title shot comes up I wouldn't want to see him pass it up. It would be worth the risk of even one more knockout loss for the potential reward of an epic ATG comeback, snaring a world title after everybody wrote him off - not to mention one last fat payday for his troubles.

I don't want to see him take a beating. If it got really bad and he was in there with some beast of a champion and getting thrashed, it would be fine if he just took a knee and let the ref count to ten - nobody with any semblance of a heart would hold it against him, and you'd have to admire him for just getting back in the ring and making it that far.

If he did win a championship at this point...wow...I literally can't think of anybody I'd be happier for.

ricky hatton under a good trainer and if he got into shape, he can lose weight very fast. maybe a trainer like enzo calzaghe would be good for him. problem is that 140-147 is piping hot with talent. he could beat however diaz/malignaggi/judah and he stands a good chance against berto/marquez. but hed lose to alexander/bradley/khan
