    It would crush my soul if that were to happen he's my fav boxer.

    I'm a fan of both and I don't even bother seeing there recent fights. I much prefer watching their older fights to remember what they once were.

    Yeah, right? I knew Echols was on a skid but he's effectively without a win in over a dozen fights in a span of six years (the one over Thomas really doesn't count).

    Granted, he's been in with several prospects who were much younger and in some cases unbeaten. All the same, he is so far out of contention right now (and never really had much beyond a punch going for him to begin with) that it can't be worth the neurological damage to collect whatever paltry checks small-time promoters are cutting him anymore. :verysad

    Exactly who I thought of when I clicked on this thread. He is probably the most shot fighter in boxing right now.
