Make sure you're well and truly over it, if your still a little sick and you start training hard it comprimises your immune system and you can be right back at square one, let alone infecting other guys at the gym.
Also, take it very easy for the first few sessions. Your body has just taken a hammering, the last thing it needs is another beating.

Maybe take a few more days off just where you get your diet extremely clean which should make sure your body is working right, then resume light training, back to basics and no heavy conditioning drills for a few weeks. Just ease into it.

It's quite a shitter when you try something you could do easily before and it seems really hard, that has set me back mentally when I've been ill in the past.

I'm by no means an expert though, this is just my opinion. All the best in recovery.

Ease your way back into it. It's the worst though isn't it lol...

One time I managed to come down with pneumonia (started after a PT session where I did 3 miles under 19 minutes in the cold rain lol), and once I was over it my 3 mile time was TWENTY EIGHT MINUTES, and it didn't feel good.

You just gotta build back. Scale back everything you normally do and work your way back into normal condition.

I've got some sort of chest cold right now, hoping to rejoin the gym next week though.
