He might have been ****ed from the 6th round. But he showed Heart and managed to see it through. I think though if he had been in with someone who was able to pick there punches rather than just throwing Hayemakers he won't have seen the end of the 10th.

I've always been a bit sceptical about Brook's stamina. There's been a few fights in his career where he has coasted along and I've often wondered if it's is because he's worried about gassing.

I think he just met his match last night. It's the first proper test he's had.

I cant remember what round it was, but it was earlier than the 6th, around the 3rd or 4th, even when Brook was in control, that I said, he's going to have to get rid of this guy, as he cant keep it up. He looked visably tired even then.
Carson Jones, was very good at not giving Brook distance, but its not like he was doing much at that point to take much out of Brook, he was just making Brook work.
Whether is was making weight issues, not training properly, or overtraining or whatever, its raised enormous concerns about Brook IMO.
He's not a concussive puncher, so he's going to be in long fights, and if he's completely gassed fighting at that pace, he's going to be beaten sooner rather than later.

That said, his courage and desire boxes recieved a tick beside them last night.

Listened to all of that, and found it very interesting. Usually these interviews are boring. Hearn speaks well. Guy's got charisma. He's a good talker.

Brook was known as very big puncher in his earlier career. His power seems to have been overhyped

The only person he's really dropped heavily is Kevin Mcintyre, who has a glass jaw, Kell is a crisp puncher, more sickening then brute power.
