Michael Hunter in his interview with Kurt DeVille from Counterpunch Boxing News told the story when he was sparring the Klitschko borthers. On Thursday, he sparred Vitali. Had him out on his feet but didn't finish the job. The next day, Wlad saw the tape from his sparring with Vitali and got pissed. Wanted to punish him in the ring, even tho he wasn't even supposed to spar that day. Hunter took the shot at the top dog and was making him miss, working his body. At the last second, Wlad completely abandoned his technique, just wanted to punch Hunter in the face. Got him on the ropes, but Hunter ducked the shot, which missed by milimeters. Hunter said, if Wlad caught him, he would need to be carried out on the stretcher. This story shows how Klitschkos were close that they even wanted to avenge each other in sparring.

He allegedly beat up Vitali, but was knocked out by Wlad on one occassion. Which seems believable, Vitali had problems with movers and Wlad feasted on them.

Not impossible but I doubt it personally - seems like everybody beat up Vitali in sparring… Toney did too lol.

You could’ve sworn it was a SHARK, if it weren’t for this bum shoulder… I’d have a WBO, WBA and maybe a WBC belt.

Vitali was probably old as hell, this has to be taken into account assuming it's even true, we know under the bright lights Hunter is not that good. Hunter claimed he had Fury out on his feet in the amateurs too

Hunter claimed it was when he was still an amateur, so before 2013. Vitali was like 42 at the time.

Vitali was retired at 42. He was damn near shot against Chisora

Hunter was pretty badass when he was turned on. I don't doubt he gave Vitali a hard time. He gave Usyk one of if not his best fight.
