Oscar Rivas. Weight division:Heavyweight. Amateur pedigree:His partial amateur record was 14 w,9 l.Has win over Andy Ruiz Jr,16:4.Kubrat Pulev,11:5.Didier Bence. Style description:He is boxer puncher. He wins his fights with his physical strength, durability, high guard and counter punching. Strengths and weakneses:He has high guard as main defense.Have decent punch with good technique. He has good chin.He doesn't move his head much in pro ranks. That leads to being hit when he attacks his opponent. He keeps his hands low at times and exposes himself to punches. Professional career:His resume is filled with journeyman. His best win was over Shawn Cox.His standout performance was against same Shawn Cox. Possible future:I think his resume is pretty weak, for a olympian with fifteen fights, this doesn't prepare him for much stronger opponents in future. One more problem is his constant injuries. But he has good potential. All considering,I see him loosing when he steps up against some quality opponent. What you think guys? You can review a boxer if you want.

He had an injury before his two recent fights, and before this injury he was scheduled to fight against Travis Walker.
Watched a few Hekkie Budler fights ( straw weight champion or minimum weight champion---wee people ). He's not a huge puncher or spectacularly fast but he is very sound technically and has excellent timing, ring smarts and work rate. He does have a pecular habit of wiping the bottom of his right foot on his left calf while he's fighting:huh what's up with that? He might not be to everybody's taste but I appreciate his overall skills.:boxing2
Jeff Horn. Weight division:Welterweight. Amateur pedigree:Took up boxing being 18 years old.Arafura Games winner,Gee Bee Tournament silver medallist,Canberra tournament winner.London Olympics quarter-finalist.2012,2011,2009 Australian Champion.2012 Oceania tournament winner. Style description:He is a brawler. His style reminds me Katsidis boxing style. Strengths and weakneses:He relies on his physical strength much and has some power to his endurance. He has decent workrate which is a compliment to his power. He has good lateral movement and covers up frequently. He isn't the fastest boxer around and can be counter attacked pretty easily. His boxing style is pretty limited. His boxing style is keeping me wondering what will happen when he will box against quality boxer not a brawler. Professional career:His promoters are building up his confidence with mediocre to decent opposition. He has faced some mediocre opposition in face Robson Assis. And decent opposition in face of Samuel Colomban and Naoufel Ben Rabeh. And couple more guys with mediocre professional records. Possible future:One thing is on his side, decent opposition in his short professional career.I see him getting couple more regional titles, some minor organizations titles and then loosing to some good boxer with quality workrate. Jeff Horn will return on 13th June card, against Richmond Djarbeng.Richmond Djarbeng-http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_id=374178&cat=boxer.
Oscar Rivas appears to be promising. I've added him into my watch list. He has 1 MD and 1 SD win against bums which do raise some suspicions. But you don't just go beating Pulev and Ruiz with no skills whatsoever. I'll be looking forward to his first fight with a B+ grade.
