Review of Black Ink - Book on Panama Al Brown

Great write up, and great video clips posted at the end! In the sparring clip, he looks to be a really tricky boxer.

 

I just ordered it and I know next to nothing about him .. like the info you posted ..

Heard if the opponent was good looking he would go the distance if he was ugly then out he goes. At the time I couldn't believe a boxer could be a homosexual. Somebody should do a thread on gay champions and contenders and make a top 10 list of them. Emile Griffith, has to be in the top 5 at the very least.

 

I bought it and read it .. a very well done work but depressing as hell ..
