I could see a argument for 7-5 Canelo, a draw or 7-5 GGG. SO im ok with a draw. Canelo landed the much harder shots, combos, body work. GGG put a lot o pressure mid fight, & Canelo simply wasnt doing enough. Suprised G didnt hurt him, while his pressure was effective MOST the significant punches were by Canelo. GGG missed A LOT. Great fight. No robbery either way. We will get a rematch, which I think Canelo does even better and wins clearly, he was the more skilled fighter so IMO he will only improve in a rematch
My review of u: You're ****ing useless. Canelo lost 11 clearly & 12 was close but probably favouring GGG too. 10 was Canelos... Aren't you embarrassed that the young man was spent by the last rounds while old GG was getting up in that ass the full 36!
One scorecard is not a Robbery. Its a bad judge. Is the 115 to 113 for GGG a robbery? You replace Byrd with another judge and its probably a 115 to 113 GGG or another Draw. In that case I don't know who wins if you have 2 draws and one win.
The scorecard saved Giftnelo from a second loss. How can you say that a lopsided scorecard didn't result in a robbery?
I think you throw out the word robbery far too often. Ever hear of the story of the boy who cried wolf? Yes the 118 to 110 was not a good scorecard BUT there is no way the 114 to 114 card was bought and paid for by anybody. Who pays for a draw?
Ya its pretty funny when people post that Danny Jacobs had GGG winning the fight. He also had Broner beating Mikey Garcia also. Somebody mentioned that ex boxers would make great judges. Ya maybe in a beauty contest. Doctors are the worst patients. Same with boxers. I thought GGG edged it but who in the h*ll am I.
Anyone that says its impossible to give Canelo the first 3 and the last 3 at the very least is lying. It was a close fight, and Canelo did very well except for the middle rounds where he was catching his breath. Hopefully Canelo's body adjested to the added muscles in the rematch and doesn't give away the middle rounds again.
Canelo Ottkerez lost at least 7-5 or 8-4. This is not down to mythical 'subjective scoring', this is how you score fights.
